Shrewsbury Police Choir -December 5th 2009

Hadnall Village Hall Committee played host on Saturday 5th December to Shrewsbury Police Choir to raise funds for the Shropshire Blood Fund Trust.  This was held in tribute to Bill Cruickshank and Roy Tonge who both sadly passed away earlier in the year. The Chairman paid tribute to all their hard work for the Village Hall, particularly highlighting their work in managing the two build/refurbishments that have happened in the last 25 years.

The audience was treated to a wide range of choral pieces, intermingled with solos and comedy sequences.  Everyone enjoyed the varied programme and the choir expressed their appreciation of the audience of over 100.  With a superbly supported raffle and some generous donations, the whole evening was able to raise a magnificent £820.The choir must have enjoyed their visit as they repaired to the village pub and continued their singing there to the delight of the patrons!

Thanks to Andrew for the pictures.
