Hadnall village is situated 6 miles North of Shrewsbury on the A49 heading for Whitchurch. There are about 300 houses and some 700 inhabitants.  We have a church, a pub, a restaurant, a school and a shop in the heart of the village.  There are a few businesses in the locality but farming remains an important activity.

There is a community-run village hall which celebrated its centenary in 2010. It is well used for local groups and other hires.

There are a number of interest groups in the village. We would welcome some content for web pages from them.  Local groups wishing to contribute should send their text/pictures to webmaster@hadnall.org.uk.  This can be in any format - it will be turned into web pages on their behalf. There is a bi-monthly magazine produced and distributed by villagers.  This holds a wealth of local information and news about events in the village.   Material for the magazine can be e-mailed to the Editor (magazine@hadnall.org.uk) or posted through the Village Hall postbox.  The June/July edition is now available.
